    Here are our favorite read this week (month?)! A couple of noteworthy mentions: I think 'A Walk in Paris' and 'A Walk in London' is nicely done! If you are looking for a book to give before or after a trip, this one is my recommendation! First Girl Scout showed up at the library and it does a nice job of describing the colorful and controversial history of the late 1800s without trying to justify or revise the ugly parts of the past. Still working my way through this, but seriously considering using this as a spine when we talk

  • I met with brooklynenglishusedbooks over the last 6 months and
    I met with  @brooklyn_english_usedbooks_  over the last 6 months and spoke with her about setting up a class for homeschoolers. I set the class and then invited anyone who wanted to join us. I am so happy she is willing to share her language and culture with us! Today we were early for our first Korean Culture class. So we were the first to learn how to write our names in Hangul! 5 minutes later everyone else showed up.     We are currently using some old 1990s textbooks that we found in a thrift shop. (Houghton Mifflin and Silver Burdett) One of which we are using to review map skills. It includes looking at how things are made in America. The other we are using to answer questions about geography and capitals. Even though this is below the twins' grade level, it holds enough interest for everyone as a read aloud.  #secularmorningbasket  While the girls are in their Korean class, Little Man compares Pokemon notes with the other boys. Also, we are learning the importance of checking your answers and
