When it gets cold the fun begins!

This year the two homeschool groups in our area did a combined Christmas party.  I have friends in both groups so we found the event enjoyable!

We celebrated Neko’s birthday.

The kiddos learned how to make an apple pie.

Then we spent the next two months living off all the pies we could make!

The teen cooking class was in full swing through the winter months working on their knife cuts and new dishes;

We joined our homeschool friends at the Mainz Eiswelt exhibit.

We visited Mainz and Frankfurt’s Weihnachtsmarkts (or Winter Markts).

Of course the girls had a sugar high making their Gingerbread houses with their friends!
